The Center for Resilient Networks and Applications (CRNA) at Simula Metropolitan in Oslo, Norway has several available PhD and Postdoctoral positions: 

 

4 PhDs and 1 Postdoctoral Fellow in critical communications systems 

We invite outstanding applicants to apply for four 3-year PhD positions and one 2-year postdoctoral researcher position to carry out research activities related to Critical Communications Systems. You will carry out research activities within one or more of the following areas: network architectures, cellular network infrastructures and/or security and dependability. This will give you the opportunity to contribute to basic research within network security and the resilience of digital services critical to modern daily life, work in a research environment with a unique combination of theoretical and practical experience, and access state-of-the-art laboratory resources (including supercomputers and advanced network testbeds).

1 Postdoctoral fellow in data privacy-preserving methods 

In addition, CRNA is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to strengthen our research within the security area. The candidate will undertake research into advanced methods for preserving privacy within large-scale measurement related datasets. You will play a critical and active role in shaping the research agenda, and also be responsible for laying the foundations for on-going investigation of privacy-preserving methods.
